Reggie & the Rascals of Queensland

Meet Reggie and his colourful little crew of Red-backed Fairywrens, a collection of feathered charmers with enormous personalities and absolutely no respect for personal space.
Among the grasses and tangled scrub of Queensland, these tiny characters go about their daily business — flirting, squabbling, showing off and occasionally remembering they're supposed to be looking for breakfast.
Reggie, naturally, considers himself something of a ladies' man. Dressed in his finest black and scarlet, he's rarely short of confidence, particularly when there's a pretty little female watching.
But behind all the bravado lies something rather special. Courtship, companionship, family life and those quiet moments of affection that make spending hours behind a camera worthwhile.
These photographs are a glimpse into their world — sometimes beautiful, sometimes hilarious, and almost always unpredictable.
Small birds. Big personalities. Absolutely no supervision.
Eyes open. Ears tuned. Expect the unexpected. Stay frosty!
